Pushtun Peace Protest in London

A well organised protest took place in London today. Pushtuns from both sides of Durand line joined hands in protest against the ongoing genocide of innocent Pushtuns in Swat, Bajaur, Waziristan and other areas of Pushtunkhwa.

Around 300 demonstrators including children and women travelled to Downing Street and stayed there for 3 hours in freezing conditions. They showed their support for the fellow innocent Pukhtuns who are the victims of the so called war on terror. They are killed by Taliban Rockets on one hand and the Pakistani Army Gunships on the other hand. The killing is indiscriminate and mostly the women and children become the targets. The situation in Swat is particularly awful where the fight is going on for the last 12 months. The Schools are bombed and demolished. The Girls education is particularly badly affected and has come to a standstill.

Pukhtoonkhwa Milli Awamy Party UK has organised a massive protest rally against on going terrorism in Pukhtoonkhwa,perticularly in Swat,Peshawar,Bajawarr,Momand,Kurma,Khyber,Orakzai,North and South Waziristan,against the criminal role of  pakistani inteligence agency ISI and regular pakistani forces who are shelling houses of innocent civilians,killing and distroying their houses,imposing curfew on innocent civilians but letting the criminals free with a license to kill and behead in day light,Protesters strongly condemn the distruction of more then 180 schools,shutting 280 and depriving more then 85 thousand children of swat from education,against ISI created secterian voilence in Kurma,situation in peshawar,momand,bajawarr,khyber,orakzai,north and south waziristan,It was sever cold with snow falling but women,children,kids,youth and elders stood there and face the harsh cold for 3 hours to show solidatry with fellow Pashtoon men,women and children affected by so called drama of ISI and pakistani regular forces and their B team, the criminals.
Protesters were chanting slogans against terrorism,human rights voilation,Distruction and shutting of schools,ISI,Al-Qaida,Extremism,secterism,were calling on UNO,human rifghts organisation and on all media to wake up and deliver their due obligation for the protection of innocent civilians.

At the end of protest PMAP UK secretry Sher Azam addressed the protestesters then hand over memmorendum to PM gordon brown at 10 downing street.
