Peace is the basic thing after which the prosperity and development are possible.Iqbal,the poet of Pakistan says,Asia is like a body and the heart beats inside is Afghan millat,if there is peace in the region of the Afghans(Pashtun),the entire Asia will have peace and tranquility and if there is disturbance in the region the entire asia will be suffering.
But unfortunately,the Pakistani rulers did not heed to the lesson taught to them by their Poet.These views were expressed by Zar Ali Khan Musazai,Chairperson Pashtun Democratic Council,in a workshop organised by the HRCP,in Islamabad the other day,under the caption of ,Promotion of the Democracy and Tolerance.I.A.Rehman , Kamran Arif Advocate and Imran Khan,Co-Ordinator HRCP,Pashtunkhwa were also present on the occasion.Zar Ali Musazai expressed his dissitisfaction over the war against terror by the Pakistan,saying that the war lacks sincerity and commitment on the part of the Pakistani Government.When Pakistan Army operates against the terrorists,the real terrorists advised to hide while the innocent Pashtun women and children suffer which is very unfortunate.
Such situations aggravate the already worse situations further worst and instigate the Pashtun to rise against the forces which goes in the benifit of the forces and govt.to get more dollers and prolong their stay in the areas of the Pashtuns .
The disturbed situations also suite to the extremists and terrorists to continue their operations and create disturbance across the Durand Line and put the Afghan Govt. in a trouble.
He said that peace and democracy in region are possible only when the sources of the terrorism are stopped which have been operating in the centers set-up in the Province of the Punjab under the support of the establishment of Pakistan.He said that the Pashtun Nation is not a terrorist one rather being intentionally defamed by the anti-Pashtun negative forces for the nefarious interests.
He also referred to a report of the Newsweek which said:The military dictators have found Jihad to be an easy means of distacting Pakistani citizens and promoting their foreign-policy objectives.
