Q. what an impact will have the releasing of 5000 prisoners? And do you think bilateral Negotiation will begin?
A. obviously here we had two main Issues, 1- United States and Taliban agreement was based on 5000 Taliban Prisoners to be released, on the other hand, there was an International pressure over Afghan Government, which finally was made to call for grand session (Loia Jirga) the government fell the responsibility on ordinary Afghan People and no any other option left for the Afghans, the president was well advised, even the president and the politician didn’t have any other option, that was the only option they had it, the Afghans have always asked for long lasting peace and have been sacrificed, unfortunately their blood is worthless, it has been 40 years but no one seriously tried to stop the bloodshed, the problem with the release of prisoners was the killer Hekamullah of several Australian soldiers, which the prime minister of Australia called the president of the USA Donald Trump that Hekamtullah must not be released, that he must be behind the Bar, if these kind of obstacles take the position, the peace Negotiation will face with some challenges and bumps, the prisoners would be gone, which is not going to make any sense, because of the above concerns the National Integration Movement presented a declaration and also submitted a petition to the International Crime of Justice and to the embassies as well, that the Afghans have fought against the International Terrorism for 19 years beside the coalition forces, but today afghans are blamed and the responsibility is being put on their shoulder, this is the main concern that I have, but still it is requested to the government and Taliban to take the bilateral peace negotiation serous, and find the solution, since it is a national issue both sides need to pay a serious attention to look for solution, neither one is independent both are under international influences
Q. Do you think that the bilateral Afghan negotiation will start within days?
A. as Taliban confessed themselves if 5000 Prisoners be released they will, but here bilateral afghan negotiation and the ceasefire are two separated issues if there is no permanent ceasefire, bilateral afghan negotiation could be continued for years simultaneously the afghan civilian will be dyeing and paying the price, the priority must be given to the ceasefire, on the other hand drug is another part of the bilateral part of the matter, which wasn’t included in of bilateral Afghan negotiation, the source of financially support is the drug of International Terrorism, based on that we can say the prisoners will be freed, bilateral Afghan negotiation will begin but we don’t know how much it is going to be successful, if it doesn’t come up with better result, there are two main concerns the people who struggled and fought for the last 19 years such as Military, journalists, social Activists, they have been suffered and served in the government, on the other hand public came up to voting for their favorite candidates, the above mentioned issues haven’t been part of the negotiation, what will be their destiny, Judges, Lawyers, security officials, and Military Officers, who have fought against Taliban and were part of the conduct operations, and also Taliban who have released from the prison are being told to stay away from and not be a part of the Armed Taliban, do you think they are safe, How it is possible? they were involved in killing, Murder, Terrorism, Narcotic Drugs, and suicide attacks, our fear is not to be repeated the same mysteries of Dr. Najib,s government once again, we have called both the Afghan Government and Taliban there must be an International guarantee, Taliban prisoners are being freed of guilty, even they were involved in Human right violation, Murder, Suicide, and Drugs Trafficking, so we call the Afghans to be alerted and act smart not to return back to the 90 nineties, the Foreign passport holder are not going to stay here forever they will leave one day, there are so many concerns even we have doubt about Zalmai Khalilzad current policy,
Q: if there is no protection do you think the same mystery will be repeated as 90 nineties as well?
A: there is no doubt at all 100% Taliban are coming here as winner of the war, some political figures of Taliban who they are not in military power are countless, and this is one of the main concern, the armed Taliban called themselves the winner of the war, on the other hand ISIS project is still exist, if some Taliban are joining the peace process what is going to happened to the left over armed Taliban? they will join the ISIS, and the people who walk along with Taliban and well coming them actually don’t really think the consequences of the future, the leftover Taliban will convert to ISIS, we have clearly mentioned that the ISIS is one of the dangerous armed faction for the people of Afghanistan, nd2 our National Integration Movement is going to declare the nd2 declaration very soon, and also called to the International Agencies to provide and look for an International guarantee,
Q: Majority Members of the Grand session at (Loia Jirga) are insisting to be freed the prisoners but some of them are still concerning and have to consider about it, what do you think about it?
A: First of all, I am very thankful of them gathered together came from deferent part of the country in this critical and intense situation and shred their ideas with the current president of Afghanistan, it was a consultative Jirga between the President and representative of the people, basically it didn’t have a logical side, it depended on NATO and the current president how they decide, I am not personally rejecting the Loia Jirga but there are some important issues they have leftover and unattended, such as drug, and International drug traffickers who were in Prison let them out to be freed, but the people who are in jail for miner drug crime staying behind the bar is injustice,
Q: what is the legal way of releasing the prisoners then?
A: the current president supposed to submit the case to the International Court of Justice, as you see thousands of the Generals, Lawyers, Advocates, Civil Activists, District representatives, and Journalists are actively working with us, and asking for protection he could take the same auction as well, unfortunately we can’t bring the entire members of the integration Movement up to the streets for demonstration because of security issue, other than we are able to bring them out to the streets 60 to 70 Thousand people easily by tomorrow, and question the officials to answer, the people who were fired and laid over, Taliban and army retired are living in the some community out of city limit, they have fought against each other in the past, they were enemies of each other, actually this is not funny, if someone can’t provide the security for themselves how they gonna protect the retired Generals and other high officials? it is not just to say auction is required, they just try to deceive us by negotiation because of that we preferred to contact the United Nation as we did as well to find out the final fate of those who served against International terrorism for 19 years, we were involved in war with the international terrorism not with Taliban, why their mouths are zipped tied and never come up with truth, they have never mentioned cause of American and NATO presence in Afghanistan, that their military presence was here to end the domestic conflict or to eliminate the Terrorism, where did the find out the source of terrorism, the belonging Military Bases of the terrorismwill be kept the same to be trained the terroristic groups for another war, or they will be closed, elimination of Narcotic drug was their first priority, NATO has never accomplished the mission one of those three commitments they came along with, Russian Officials are claiming that tons of Narcotic drugs are being loaded every day transferring through air support, terrorism grew up from one to 22 deferent groups, if we talk about the governance you were the wetness two presidential oaths ceremonieswere held in the same day, what a good government institution? Should NATO be awarded with good Credits? That is why we are not complaining of the Jirga, basically it was not a Grand Session (Loia Jirga) but it was a consulting meeting, and the Afghans don’t really have any other better option, except unity, and get together, it was a wonderful environment when the politicians got together under one shelter and provide the current president theirfinal determination, but it is not acceptable to the International Community such as Australian Prime Minister clearly added law is the first priority not a Jirga,
Q: United States is proposing to build the trust, how much does it logical from your point of view?
A: that is one of the main concern, since the mechanism is not exist here, and the NATO is in hurry to draw the troops as soon as possible to finalize the project, they came along with a regular plane, and the time of the project has been over, the United states is in a deep ditch here and doesn’t know how to get a way of it, the US have created so many mysteries, the people are that much eager even to have peace for one minute, our government and people truly paid the price, but they have created a lot of problems among us, such as Ministry of Justice have issued 12 thousands registrations and recognized deferent groups and associations with deferent names, it means the open minded generation have been divided into 12 thousand deferent pieces, your political thoughts have been a parted into 100 pieces, and it is hard to bring them back all together, but based on these issues we didn’t have another option, if the Afghan truly hope to get away of it they need to follow legal way, If the president really wants to accomplish his duty well, he needs to present the case to the international organizations,
Q: Do you think the Negotiation team have the ability to eliminate the war in Afghanistan and bring the peace?
A: Khalilzad himself said that peace with the Taliban does not mean that the war will end. Their peace means peace between the Taliban and the government. Do Taliban have the ability to stand and fight against the international terrorism? Does the assurance that Afghan territory will not be used against the United States, do they also guarantee that ISIS will not use the drugs they have been using so far which was the main source of income for Taliban as well?
We have to look at both sides of the picture, the peace between Taliban and the government. 2nd the existence of global terrorism. which is still existing here. WheneverTrump’s strategy was declared its first mandate was to apply the economic pressure over Iran and eliminate theterroristic Training centers in Pakistan, now Taliban will have surrendered to Mr. Khalilzad, ISIS project will be applied to you and the prisoners will be taken to Qatar and settle them for bilateral negotiation, actually Afghans are getting close to the danger, Afghans don’t really realize. The problem for Afghans is that they have always preferred interim government, and the consequences of interim government is the same as what happened to Dr. Najibullah’s government back in nineties,
Q: Do you really think the obstacle have been removed and the bilateral negotiation will begin?
A: The Afghan government has fulfilled its responsibility. Now we ll see who is creating obstacle The afghan government accepted this challenge. the best choice for the government was to file the case and legally complain to the ICJ and let them to decide who is guilty, if a Jirga is held then the entire world should hold a Jirga. ignore the international drug laws that they have made it, the law will be just applied to us and they will benefit of it.
Q: why the president didn’t choose the International Court of Justice?
A: that is why we criticize. The president or other affiliated with the politics had to take this action unfortunately it didn’t happen so we chose the legal approach to struggle and fight for it, We’ve fought global terrorism as we’ve said we didn’t fight the Taliban. We fought against global terrorism. Stood beside NATO forces. So we have to submit the Case or the president had to do it. We are still asking the president to go to international law. The judge will decide. Neither Pakistan nor Iran and Russia will have any concern, in case they do. They can share it with the international Court of Justice, and let the court to determine this is why the law for it, why shouldn’t we go after the law. Jirga is anAfghan culture. I know that culture is ours and it is being used by America and the world. Instead to call for Jirga submit the Case to the International Court of Justice, so let’s go back to the world court and legalize the case, our local police, tribal leaders, National council and the ordinary people who worked for unity fought against the terrorism for the last 19 years what is going to happen to their destiny,
Q: do you think Peace talk will end up, in spite of havingso many problems, along with this scenario which has been going on in Afghanistan
A: if we follow and respect the law I am pretty sure it will,this game of violence will be over. It has been a hundred years we are going along with this mystery, so far no one guaranteed yet of our protection and looked for the perfect solution, that is how we are complaining to the international Community. Australia is calling not to be released the killer of Australian soldiers. We are being killed and have been killing for the last 40 years’ no one care about us, our blood is worthless to them, even the current president doesn’t really care, the government has been established based on bilateral agreement. We had two presidential oaths ceremonies in the same day. All those three projects that they have come along with havefailed. Afghans must work together to stand up to the International Court of Justice. That what United States wanted to happen, United States is an emperor and the Afghans have to ask for the damages. NATO and The Britain both were his allies, British was the in charge to eliminate the Narcotic drug in Afghanistan but British didn’t accomplish this mission it must be asked,
Q: Mr. Nazek, the US and NATO troops have been there for many years. why there is no peace, do you think the above mentioned countries are creating obstacles or is there any other reason?
A: The reasons of war are cleared. If Afghans are judging or punishing the neighboring country Pakistan, do we have any logical reason? The United States wasn’t able to find such as an excuse to punish Pakistan and Iran, economical sanction was applied over Iran, Terroristic organizations sources were found in Pakistan, US declared ceasefire with terrorism, this procedure is just going to rescue Pakistan, there is no one to raise the voice that where the terrorism comes from? who they are? where are they from? You are claiming that you have arrested them, I am being accused not to put them to death this is against the International law, when we brought them to justice put them behind the bar, then you are making peace with them, and releasing them back, the only option we Afghans have is to wait for the Judge to determine who is guilty and none guilty, there is an International court let it to determine and do its job, if there is no such as restriction and law for the drugs in the world then let Afghanistan as well as to legalized the Drugs,, the chemical which converts it to the real drugs come from the neighboring countries, if we can’t find the solution to eliminate the drug there will be another bloody war in Afghanistan, because of these narcotic drugs the war is going on the main cause of the war is the drug, which has financially supported the terrorism, no one can spend that much legal money in the war,
Q: Temporary peace and ceasefire is not acceptable to any Afghan. Maintaining peace is extremely important. What steps should be taken to have such permanent peace in Afghanistan?
A: The only way to do that is through legality and justice. The international court of crime, and the International Court of Justice ICC. Let the ICC and ICJ to decide, who committed the crime to be punished, there is no any other legal way for the President except the International Court of Justice ICJ. the President, and the people of Afghanistan, including the neighboring countries such as Pakistan, Iran, and Russia whoever has concern need to deal with the International Courts, Durand Line remains. It hasn’t officially handed over to the world. The issue of Durand Line remains unresolved, but the mentioned issue is always being discussed in our community, which hasn’t been recognized as an official boarder Control line between the countries, we do not recognize it yet.
Q: Does the world really want peace in Afghanistan?
A: we don’t have to be worried about the world and otherpoliticians and their intelligence to chase them after, let’s be in front the international judge and represent ourselves, let’s see the determination of the judge if he would lie then we can have the argument and the judge will be questioned,
Q: Who can be the judge of the world?
A: The world’s judge is the International Court of Justice which has been established to resolve the Issues between the countries, Why the issue of Afghanistan is not being formalized? Why is the issue of Durand Line not being resolved? Why are we misbehaving with Pakistan? The current war is not going to be ended, Pakistan, Iran, China, and Russia are being criticized and insulted for such a no good reason and when your project time is over then calling them to come along with peace flag, actually your power doesn’t mean nothing,
Q: Do we have indoor intention for peace or to be present in front of the judge?
A: whether someone does or they don’t. but Here we are now in a position where we have worked for 19 years alongside the internationals forces in fought against global terrorism, as ICC passed the SIV Special Immigrant Visa bill to bring the interpreters because of to their life threat,How about the chief security, Army, Tribal elders, Islamic scholars, who have fought for 19 years against the global Terrorism, what is going to happen to their life, are they protected, we have paved the way for general election,over 9 million people voted, even if Taliban would accept the mentioned comments how about the ISIS project no body is acceptable and respectable to the ISIS,
Q: from many points of views if bilateral negotiation reached to peace, Taliban will not consider the ISIS project as dangerous?
A: Taliban are dreaming the same like former Mujahedeen, they were not considering and came along with same statements, but what happened at the end?what happened to the Taliban? 1700 hundreds tribal elders of 5 tribes lost their lives in 2011 just in Kandahar and because of their death and terror, the Afghans were judging and blaming deferent intelligence Agencies,
We Afghans must stop judging, Judgment is not our duty, leave it for God, there are 19 deferent terroristic groups in Afghanistan and it is hard to say who did it and who were involved in it, we are divided into several groups so we are insisting that the only solution is legitimacy, the President and we can do it to step forward and go through legal way, the National integration Movement of Afghanistan is working on it and presented our case to the International Court of Justice and to the international court of Crime,as I am insisting repeatedly that we haven’t fought against Taliban actually we have fought with the International Terrorism, every single Afghan dedicated his life to fight against Terrorism, as Taliban recently parted their direction from the terrorism and trying to join the Afghan government through peace negotiation they are welcomed, as 5000 Prisoners of Taliban were released and no one filed any complain against them, How about the remaining14000 prisoners who are behind the bar just for minor crimes, the real drug traffickers already been released among those 5000 prisoners, do you call it the international law,
Q: Why they are insisting over 400 hundred prisoners to be released? why they are so much important to them?
A: The Americans promised the Taliban that the prisoners we have captured and handed over to the government of Afghanistan would be released to them just to resolve the Afghan bilateral peace negotiation, US clearly declared Taliban hasn’t been recognized as an official organization in the world, there have been many attempts to turn them into a terroristic group, such as Haqqanis or ISIS, but the US didn’t do it, the United States have cleared that Afghan must come together and find the solution to end the war, the prisoners were not important to them but to protect their national interests is the 1st priority,
Q: what is going to happened to the National interests of Afghanistan?
A: why we are hopping of others, Afghans have to stand and fight for National interests themselves, they have to raise their voice there is no any other option left except the International Court, don’t we have the rights to live like others, aren’t we human beings? Afghans must stand up and raise their voices, Afghans must go to the International Court of Justice, that is the only address left for us, which is the International Court of justice,
Q: Do you think the International Court is the only option left for us?
A: There is no other way Afghans need to join handstogether to form an interim Jirga. every single politician, tribal elder, General, and Islamic scholar, have to do their job and be responsible, the Jirga supposed to request the president to be given the priority to the ceasefire then to discuss the prisoners issue, and bilateral afghan negotiation, if the narcotic drug issue is not going to be resolved there is no hopes for peace, no one has the power to break the International law, as you saw the prime minister of Australia Clearfield in his statements that no on one has the right to release the killer of Australian solders, if the United States don’t release them don’t you think it is going to be an obstacle for the peace negotiation,meeting are being held outdoor how to apply their strategy and policy over Afghan people, all I am saying let’s get together and present our case to the international Court of justice once all together, ask for our rights, many of the retired High officials, Islamic Scholars, civil activists, Military related, Tribal Elders have been targeted and have been killed.
