In Mohmand agency, when the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Mohmand chapter was beheading the innocent civilians, no one was able to resist, so in Khwaja Tehsil of Mohmand Agency, Malik Yousef Mohmand family took up the arms and started armed resistance against the Tehreek-e-Taliban in defense of their land. Their families were martyred in this resistance but they did not back off from their resistance and for the honor of their land. Their family had also arrested friends of Baitullah Masood, a spokesman for the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), who had returned to Bajaur from Waziristan to attend a Taliban council meeting. Maulvi Omar, a former Taliban spokesman, belonged to Bajaur and had a bounty of 10 million from the Pakistani government.
Malik Yousef Mohmand’s family was very loyal and patriotic to Pakistan and served Pakistan in whatever capacity they could for their whole life. When PTM launched its nonviolent and peaceful resistance politics in Pakhtunkhwa in 2018, Malik Yousef Mohmand took a stand against the PTM and was supporting Pakistan Protection Moment. Celebrating the 14th of August and the Kashmir days and other state national holidays. However, Malik Yousef Mohmand is illegally abducted by Intelligence agency of Pakistan, He is illegally abducted like thousands of other Pashtuns and kept in detention without access to judicial and other legal apparatus of the state. The family is appealing to PTM and Manzoor Pashteen to raise their voice for Malik Yousef Mohmand.
PTM is a grassroots Human rights-based movement that stands and struggle for the right of every Pashtun on Pashtuns lands. We urge the Pashtuns to join hands with the oppressed Pashtuns under the umbrella of PTM against the tyranny of the state.
By God, the PTM state has neither personal war nor personal interest. However, if there is any oppression, the PTM will come out in the field against the oppression and save the Pashtun honor.
